Welcome to 2011!!!

Grade 7 - Assignments from before Christmas break were returned and reviewed. We have continued in Ch 4 and completed section 4.3 this week. There will be no test for Ch 4, but students do have a few small assignments to complete. They began working on a real life problem in class on Wed and this is to be passed in by Wednesday January 12, 2011 - both the question/problem and the solution should be included. The second assignment is the Mathlink at the bottom of page 145 - it is worth 40 marks and is due on Friday January 14, 2011. Students will also complete a small in class assignment on Friday Jan 14 to complete the chapter. Next week we will work on the assignments, review and practice test for the chapter.

Grade 8 - Reviewed material covered before the break and then continued in Ch 4. Section 4.3 was completed this week. Next week we will work on section 4.4 and begin to review for an assignment and test.

Grade 9 - Ch 3 Tests were handed back on Tuesday. We began Ch 4 and have covered section 4.1 on enlargements and reductions. We will continue with Ch 4 over the next couple of weeks.
