Grade 7 - Finished Chapter 4. Students reviewed and worked on projects in class all week. Both small assignments were passed in on Wednesday and Friday. In class assignment will be written on Monday now because of the storm day on Thursday. We will begin Chapter 5 on Tuesday of next week.
Grade 8 - Continued with Chapter 4 and finished the last section on Friday. Next week will be used to work on an assignment and to review the chapter for a test on Friday, January 21. A chapter 4 assignment will be handed out on Monday and is due on Wednesday, January 19. Assignments will be corrected and handed back on Thursday to use for review for the test.
Grade 9 - Continue to work in Chapter 4. Sections 4.1 and 4.2 on scale, scale factors, reductions, and enlargements was covered this week. Section 4.3 was also started on similar triangles - students watched a short slide show and went over examples from the book in class. We will continue with section 4.3 next week, most likely wrapping up the chapter by the end of the week.
